PRESIDENT BALDWIN PROMISES TROOPS HOME
December 10, 2009
President Baldwin promised troops
will return soon at Washington ceremony
Washington, USA (ENN) -- With hostilities in Croatia winding
down, families here in the US are eagerly anticipating the return of
their loved ones and hoping they will be home in
time for the holidays.
In a speech last night at a Washington
President Baldwin reassured the American public that a timely return of
US servicemen was everyone's concern.
"Tomorrow I will be meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff to
go over this very issue," the President said. "While we
cannot afford to diminish our strength so much that we undermine the
security we fought so hard to earn there, I will make sure that every
possible soldier who can come home and be with his or her family this
Christmas will be able to do just that."
